How do we know? We have taken the non promoted price of all chilled mince meat from four major UK retailers and compared them to Quorn Mince frozen big bag.

The maths speak for themselves:

  • Quorn Mince 500g: Non promoted price of £2.95 equates to a cost of £5.90 per kg
  • Own Label Mince Meat (weight 650/750g): Average non promoted price for the 4 Own Label packs £4.89, that equates to an average cost of £6.70 per kg
  • So, on a price per kg basis frozen Quorn Mince 500g is 80p cheaper (12% cheaper).
