Ingredients

  • 1 300g pack of Quorn Mince
  • 1/2 cup chopped kimchi, save a splash of kimchi juice
  • 2-3 chopped spring onions
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp white pepper powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • For the dough:
  • 480g flour
  • 260ml warm water
  • 2g salt

Method

  1. Combine all the dough ingredients in a large bowl, mix well and shape into a ball. Let the dough rest for 10 minutes before kneading for 5 minutes and then resting for a further hour.
  2. Mix all the remaining ingredients together, ensuring all liquid has been well absorbed by the Quorn Mince.
  3. Lay out the dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 16 equal pieces (about 30g/piece).
  4. Wrap an equal amount of filling into each piece of dough, using your hands to form into a smooth and tightly wrapped bun.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 180°C. Place the buns into the air fryer and spray some oil over the top of each bun, cook for 10-15 mins until golden and enjoy!
