Our vegetarian Frikadellen recipe is a tasty twist on the classic veggie meatball, perfect for a delicious midweek dinner served up with creamy mash! Made with Quorn Vegetarian Mince combined with eggs, spices, breadcrumbs and flour to create a delicious vegetarian Frikadellen filled with flavour!
So easy to make, simply combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix before adding the flour. Roll into balls and bake in the oven until deliciously golden brown. Enjoy on their own or serve with creamy mash and veggies.

Ingredients
- 500g Quorn Vegetarian Meat-Free Mince
- 4 large eggs beaten
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 50g wholemeal breadcrumbs
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 3 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp German mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tbsp paprika
- 2 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 tablespoon plain flour
Method
- Preheat an oven to 200 degrees. Place all the meatball ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix. Then add flour which will help to bind the mixture. You may a little more flour if mixture isn’t holding together.
- Bake the balls for 25 minutes.
- Traditionally enjoyed with bread spread butter and chives or with radishes and cucumbers.
